While watching the second episode of the anime Baka and Test, I was saddened when a couple of the main characters made homophobic remarks. The show is otherwise really good, so I'm going to continue to watch it.

But what I find odd is that the remarks were made against lesbianism, yet a male crossdressing character is lusted after by the other guys.

Not today, but yesterday. Two guys offered me their help with my new website. It made me very anxious and then turned into meltdown. It's nice that somebody wants to help me, but it's hard to cope. I want them, ofc.

I spent the last 11 hours sleeping, but I'm exhausted. How does that happen?

it seems that my time in the world of "far cry 2" maybe coming to a sad "fork in the road".
i am forced to accept a mission (in order to continue the game) that will result in retaliation that kills my "best buddy ...michele dachs".
after i assassinated the drug lord (the mission objective), i get a call from the person who gave me the mission and he tells me that things have gone horribly wrong, and there has been a massive retaliatory response, and that michele is "holed up" in mikes bar, because they are surrounded by hostile "retaliators" (probably a coined word).

i must say i am ashamed of myself for spending so much consideration on the welfare of the female ai "michele dachs".
i want to protect her because her presence adds an element to the game that i like.

if i lose her, then the game will be less compelling to me. i am mostly always alone in the game, but sometimes i do missions with her, and she is well designed, and i do not want to lose her.

anyway, when i got to mikes bar (after ruining the suspension of the jeep with inconsiderate recklessness of impatience), i heard shots and i got up on the machine gun on the jeep and i cleared them away.

all was quiet, and everyone outside was dead.

so i got off the jeep and went into mikes bar, and there was michele and she asked me to move a fridge so it blocked the door (there was no alternative. i had to or else the game would not have progressed)

i moved the fridge, and then it was on for young and old.

just before i moved the fridge, i saved the game, and i have tried 30 or more times to play from there in a way that michele does not get killed.

i can not do it. it seems that the game designers had to kill her off.

maybe because they could not write a descent evolving personality for her. who knows.

so i am sad that i have to soon give up thinking of new ways to play where she will not be killed, because she always manoeuvres her way into an area where she will certainly be killed in this last time frame.

i have to play past the point where i see her die and that is a problem. i just do not think i can drive away from her body never to see her again with ease.

god life is hard.

but i got the game for free, so i guess that is some consolation.

^ Sorry to hear, b9.

Cleaning makes me unhappy. I love everything being cleaned well and orgainized but I hate cleaning. I'm going to have to hire a housekeeper again because I really have better things to do with my time. As soon as I unpack everything and get it organized again, I'm going to start interviewing housekeepers.

I hope you feel better soon Ten. If you don't have ear drops, some warmed sweet oil with a little cotton might help. But then not everyone has sweet oil on hand either. You can buy it without a perscription in the US. I don't know about England though. One of my great grandfathers from Ireland was a pharmacist. So that side of my family has used it for years.
