I don't like my life. I'm not a happy person. So I push you away rather than trying to bring you into that. All this depression, anxiety, etc. is just an abyss. You can't help anymore than you already have. And you did, you did help. I'll always be grateful for that and I do care about you. But I'm not in a good place. I've never been the entire time we've talked. I haven't been content except to some degree as a young teenager... when life was simpler.

You're someone that will always be in my heart. So don't count this against yourself. I've meant every positive thing I've said to you and still do. If only it was as easy to be positive about myself. For a while I thought maybe I'd get things figured out sooner. But I haven't and who knows when, or if, I will.
