I hate the summer becuase:

1. Sunlight is one of the b****** i have to deal with, i hate the warm light that consumes my body, i feel like a rat, a cursed creature condemned to suffer.

2. Salt water makes me wish i was taking a COLD shower, i want to be erased from the planet while the salt approaches my body.

3. I'm allergic to pollen since i was 6, and i became blind for a day when i first got it.

4. The people at the beaches, the ones in their 20s-30s have such meanless humour, they laugh like women when you tell them anything, football, just say "B" and they will likely lose consciousness of laughter!!

1. be a viking man! train during winter. go outside and force yourself not to just tolerate the whipping torturing winds against your face, but LOVE it. DEMAND MOOOORE PAIN and LAUGH when you get it. note: this requires you to look weird in front of your neighborhood, but you shouldnt be a stranger to this by now anyway.
in spain i had 45 degrees last time i visited. 45!
i did like in winter. i LIKED it. i WANTED my brains to boil, and maaaan did they BOIL :]

2. i too hate salt water.

3. i was allergic, but it dissapeared. remember allergies are your _immune system MISUNDERSTANDING harmless microorganisms as harmful_. pollen enters, and your body believes these are bacteria. i dunno what removed my allergies, but i knew this. body and mind is connected. it doesnt hurt you to know :]

4. theyre stoned.

If i had the choice of freezing maself OFF, and being in sunlight, i would choose FREEEEZE, but when pain comes into the picture, i'd rather be spanked with a stick by two hot babes :)

look your aspie, use it to your benefit!
ive allready heard how aspies can handle physical pain better cus of their logical view of the world. you know why the pain is there, you know what its task is, the pain isnt surprising you

when you know that, you can handle the pain of both cold and heat, just be aware of it, "act tough" if you like, just learn to tolerate it B)
the only think i complain about when its
too hot: sweat
too cold: shivering

cus those are annoying :D

exactly!
and its "stinging nettle" in english. the nature of norway is (by default) found all over the northern hemisphere of the world, we have very few unique species here :D

i know what you mean tho, it has to do w emotional vs logical reaction. people get stung by the plant and theyre surprised and even offended by the effect. a plant shouldnt "burn" them, they get very frustrated about the stinging sensation.

a logical reaction isnt so bad. we know why it stings, its a biomechanical reaction in its leafs, little needles shoot out, the poison used is very common in nature etc. we know the whole backstory, so were only left w the sting itself, which is - as you say - not so bad at all :D i mean
RIGHT NOW i pinched my hand worse than that plant stings. try it yourself! logic rules :)

Because AS people are more resistant to several types of pain, are we somewhat supernatural? 8O :P

no, it works like this

1. PAIN is a signal. litterally. its a signal to the body to react to danger. its for animals, its a reflex. we're animals, we have it. it triggers us to jump away from danger.

2. humans are animals, but with a high sense of logic. MOST normal people will laugh pain off, once they know theres no danger, like if someone gets stung by something, their first reaction is to freak out and jump "S**T something stung me!! !"
their next reaction is to find out what stung them, once they know they sat on a pin or something, they relax, despite the pain still being there "hahaha stupid pin! ouch :) "

3. aspies analyze more than normal people do. so we can have a slightly more logical relationship to the sensation of pain. still, everyone's different, but on a general basis i think
