Usually when us females use the word cute it's non threatening word for attractive. At least that's the word I use whenever I find a guy attractive but am not trying to hit on him.

I don't know if I've ever been called cute. But if a girl did call me cute, it would prove on of three things.
1. She's slowly but surely going blind.
2. Is having a psychotic episode.
3. Is most likely on drugs.

from the look of you, i'd say you can probably safely take that as a good thing. i'm not gay or anything but i can see why they might say that

in my case some of them hit on me too.

i've gotten a myriad of "you're cute" comments worded different ways.
maybe it can mean different things depending on the usage?

here are all the different comments i've gotten on my myspace pics by girls that include the word "cute"

I get that all the time from most girls, mostly online though... and most girls wished boys was just like me? I don't see whats really positive about me?

Yeah! Cute is used as a compliment.
Here in Oz you'd probably be thought of as a good looking Metrosexual! The most well known OZ Metrosexual is Ian Thorpe the Olympic swimmer.

Some of the girls i see say to me that im cute but some say im also sexy sometimes its just too good to be true to hear all those comments about as i only rate myself as your typical average boy.

Yeah, you're a good-looking kid.

As for me, not so much. Overweight for over 20 years; started going bald at 22. I've always been self-conscious about my appearance.
