when i was younger and fitter, i found that there was nothing as soothing, nothing that drained angst away so effectively, as hopping in the lap pool of the local YMCA, and swimming a mile or so most nights after work. something about the acoustic ambience of the water splashing and the hum of the pumps put my mind at ease, and the massage of the lukewarm water caressed me as it flowed past my body while i pulled and kicked down the lane and back. it kept me slim and fit and as a bonus i didn't sweat, i always hated sweating as i normally do so profusely, but not when i was in the water.
anybody else out there with a similar story?
I love to swim but I am allergic to chlorine in pools, I prefer swimming at a lake or tubing down a river.

if you don't get it, it'll just waste my time explaining it
and it won't be funny
on that
desu like a champion
but the detailed explanations can be hilarious. and i'm appreciative of people who are patient enough to explain things to me.
I didn't get it either.
it was originated on second life I think, when (it is said) characters who were black were banned, so a bunch of people form 4chan created black characters with suits and afro's and all stood infront of the pools-saying "pools closed"
if memory serves me right
We get the odd 4chan character in my friends club in SL, most of the time they are harmless twatts
so we ignore them, seems if you pay any attention they start to cause trouble
