I love rainbows too. I also know what you mean wearing wet clothing walking around in them I hate that. I hate the drenched clothes and walking around. But for me I like walking through the rain, while people are running to get shelter I take my time. I never been drenched in rain. I hope to never be totally drenched.
I even like the drenched clothes. It's when my hair is wet I get a foul temper.

Sound of the rain knocks me out when in bed 
so soothing, I love the rain, walking running in it whatever, its dark, no one about, best time to go the shops, watching people run for cover
