I've been there and done that in the past myself and I rejected a really pretty girl once online, soon as some guy took her, I was exactly the same way as the guy you liked afterwards and boy it sure sucked.
You know when you have a good chance, the only thing I can say is go for it otherwise it would be too late, oh well, the guy was too slow, now he won't be the one saying I pity the fool.

Your meeting with your friend sounds so sweet. It gives me hope now. One day I would like to meet an Internet friend myself. Don't worry about your head, that's adorable even if you are just friends. Trust me, from what you've described on the first page of this post, he is definitely sad about it, otherwise he wouldn't of done himself the silent treatment.
