What was your childhood nickname?

My childhood nickname is Adsje (at-shuh). It's a shortened, cutesy version of my name (Adriaan) and is still used by certain relatives.

I had two that I got in childhood, Sissy, which completely replaced my given name for a long time and my sister still uses it today. My mother also called me Sam or Samantha, which she and my stepdad also still do. I like them both.

I never cared for nicknames. Even today I have a hard time calling anyone by a nickname or allowing someone else to appoint me one.

So... I never really had one.

My childhood nickname worm simply referred to the fact, that my physical form was elastic or flexible.Basically, I could always do things that seemed highly unusal still, the nickname was only used by my grandfather for, I'm sure others would find it outlandsih and strange..

I had way too many nicknames.

I'm a writer, always have been, so I was wanting to be called whatever character I was trying to get in character with at the time. LOL I would scream whenever someone would call me by my real name instead of "Katie" or "Devon" or "Chris" or "Jasmine" or whatever.
