A life where I have my own place to live that's close to a town (never in the city, too dangerous,) more than enough money to keep my bills paid, I have no one or any other outer world stress to worry about, and (somewhat reluctantly because I'm a lazy person) a job that I loke doing...

A good husband, 3 kids (preferably a boy and two girls not necessarily in that order), not a huge house. I want a smaller than average house, like an older one because they have so much charm and personality and they are sooo cute. And less to clean. If possible I would like at least one child to inherit my musical genes, but I'm not sure how I would handle an aspie or ADHD child. As for me personally I think I would be a better stay-at-home mom rather than juggling kids and a job.

Oh and I want a dog.

Career advancement is high on my priority list right now, and is being badly thwarted by unfortunate aspie-like difficulties.
I want to be good at my job. I want to be independent, self-reliant. I want a self-contained life with a high level of internal cohesion. Maybe I'm just a control freak. I'd also love to have the means to travel, to see something of the world and experience its present and its history. I'd also like to be in a position professionally (that I'm shooting for at the moment) where being "odd" is actually going to be an advantage.

I personally can't say much on what I want, because I have no foundation to begin with, so what I want is possibly what I plan to work on.

I want to be able to learn everything within the world, so I can have all the details and study science/help make science happen. My favorite things to study for science is big and small. I love to study things as small as the atom, and as big as the universe. This means a lot of different sciences. Biology, Physics, Chemistry. I would like to study the brain as well.

As for materialistic things, I want to have a decent house that is open, spacey, and is laid out properly. I wouldn't mind having a pool too. In a secluded area. Lots of trees.

I want to be with the man I'm with now for the rest of my life. I truly love him, and I wouldn't mind having 2 kids at the most. I don't think it's a good idea to be an only child, and I was one. You just don't learn the things you do when you have siblings. I had step siblings, but it was always difficult to play with them and be their friends, because of my aspergers-like-behavior.

I want to travel the world, so I can hold even more perspectives and gain more knowledge. I seek truth. I seek information. The very aspergersy way.

How I answer this question would change depending on what mood I'm in but I'll give it a shot:

I'd like a nice, quiet life with a small, core group of friends and maybe a loving wife who can put up with all my quirks and foibles. Not sure if it would be a good idea to have an aspie wife, because I definitely need someone who can take charge in social situations.

As for job prospects ,well, I'd like to do something that involves linguistics. Something that doesn't involve a huge amount of social interaction would be a bonus, but I wouldn't want to spend all my days isolated in a dusty library either.

Most importantly, I'd like to be happy. So far, happiness has been an extremely slippery eel that keeps slipping out of my hands :(

Awwww, you have a way with words to induce sympathy. :(
I know what you mean. I could be doing anything pretty much, as long as it makes me happy.

Happiness, just like anger, comes and goes. If you are constantly chasing after it, you will miss the peacefulness of being content.

Yeah, but in the right environment, you will have more happy than anger.

That's true to a certain extent. Contentedness comes from within, whereas anger and happiness are inherently external.

Very true. I wish I could learn to be content, sooner. :(

I don't know what to tell you there, Spazz. My social anxiety is pretty bad, as well.

I want to live a middle class life style off of my parents' pay checks forever and ever.
