What do you look forward to in the morning?

Nothing really, mornings are boring.

Weekend mornings where the neighbour's dog wakes everyone up at 6:30 AM are like, blaaaaah to me.

However, I look forward to the feel of the cold air on my face as I walk to the bus stop in the morning. I enjoy cool, dry mornings.

I am finding it very hard to get out of bed, because I don't want to start the day. Each morning I look forward to the next night.

The first cup of coffee with the first cigarette of the day. I usually have it sitting right here checking the forum or email, etc.

I'm smoking much less because of my antidepressants so soon I'll just look forward to the coffee, when I quit completely. There are times though when I quit completely except for one in the morning, because after that they just seem gross.

I look forward to an appendage returning to a relaxed state so that I can have that first badly needed pee of the morning...some of the weird poses and positions I have taken to achieve this before time are not the most comfortable...

I usually shower in the morning. If I'm motivated, a good run can really boost your early morning energy levels. I'm a night person though, so mornings are more something to get through until I've properly woke up.

My breakfast, my walk at 9:30am ^^, chatting on skype with friends from across the world, posting on the forum, if i have time left i'll do something on my laptop like a game or browse around or watch a video of a series i like :) To be honest i'm not much of a morning person, but lately i've really been improving, i went from super depressed to just a bit cranky, so that's good right? And atleast i never have to hurry as long as i'm on time for my daily walk, i walk about 2 hours by the way :D *proud*

Getting home in the afternoon when work is over.

Having some orange juice and doing my daily rounds online. I rarely have breakfast as I never usually have any appetite when I wake up.

I look forward to the enthusiastic morning greeting of my rescue cat She always sits next to my pillow and waits for signs that I'm about to wake up. I guess she notices changes in my breathing pattern or something, because as soon as I'm drifting out of sleep, she paws my face or my arm. (She has learned that waking me up before that point results in a very grumpy and barely functional human).

When I open my eyes and look at her, she's besides herself with joy. She purrs like a motor and rubs her head against my face, runs to the foot of the bed to paw and tickle my feet under the blanket, and comes scurrying back when she hears me laughing. When I swing my legs out of the bed, careful not to step on the toy mice which she has lined up there during the night like offerings to her deity, she jumps down and rubs her head to my feet. "The almighty can opener has awoken! All praise the giver of food!"

Then it's time to heat up frozen prawns for the kittens, which has become their regular morning treat and the reason that my rescue is so excited when I get up. My other cat usually joins us in the kitchen when she hears the commotion, jumps onto the kitchen counter and from there onto my shoulder, and purrs into my ear as she chews her breakfast prawn. That little morning ritual is the highlight of my day.

I look forward to corn flakes and my routine. First thing in the morning I look at or touch the things that are important to me (certain books, stuffed animals etc) then I shower, get dressed, do my hair and then make-up and then check my emails and Facebook while I eat my breakfast. I like the morning and bedtime because that is when I can have my routine without other people getting in the way.

I look forward to seeing how my day will turn out. If it's sunny and hot, I'll already know the answer.

But anyways, I look forward to seeing my close buddies at school, how the dog will act on his walk, if my sister will want me to french braid her hair again, that kind of stuff. Mundane originality is what I'm after.
