I have a tradera account, which is our version of e-bay and is owned by the same people that own e-bay. I mainly sell my old books that I've already read and my paintings. I rarely buy anything, but when i do it's most often books.

No one seems to want to buy the stuff of mine :( But I'm going to try to sell there some old handbooks of mine I used to use at school.

I like to buy stuff there, but I've never sold anything.

You don't need a credit card, you can make a Paypal account and link it to your bank account if you know how (if you have one).

I don't use ebay so much but I still like to look things up. It was useful for buying computer parts for my powermac, special interests, and replacement car parts which buying from the dealership is just insane.

Things are a bit expensive now and can't really compete like they were at the beginning.

I don't like to use paypal and usually ask if they would take a money order. My rating is good and they usually say its okay.

I should sell some stuff but have not gotten motivated.

oh ebay is good fun, I may spend way too much time on there - so much more relaxing than going to actual shopping centers, imo. I tend to buy things like hard to find books, I've bought quite a bit of hockey equipment on there (ice hockey gear is EXPENSIVE in Australia!) and some fancy dress costume stuff. And I get really excited when the packages with my name on them arrive - childish, I know, but never gets old! I don't sell, though. If I had anything worth selling, I might have.
