It has a huge advantage which would make the CG easier: it's
dark, so there's no need for any real detail or quality and instead, it relies heavily on suggestion.
It's also been designed to
look home made, but consider: why would someone want to video some guys going into a building like that, and why did the shot of the animal moving across the door end the way it did - there's nowhere for it to go, to the left of the door, so why wasn't the camera just left running? Or, the guys could have tried to force it out: throw rocks in there, whatever.
Aside from the CG, it's all a little
too staged.
