Same. And the sound of the rain... It reminds me of ambient music, which instantly puts me into a deep state of relaxation.

I like rain. It is always cool when it rains, which is a good thing. I also like watching it rain or listening to the sound of it. It's not my favourite weather (which is mist) but it's pretty close.

I travelled to Australia once and was staying in a resort-sort of place (not as fancy or scary as it sounds - it was with a student group), and it hadn't rained there for weeks and weeks. When we were loaded into our bus and pulling away, it started to rain, lightly. We were all Virginians and it's usually pretty wet here so we weren't too surprised, but like I said, the Queenslanders (right word?) had been having a drought. I saw all the resort staff running out the front door where we'd left, jumping up and down, and some were pulling off the blue aprons they wore and swinging them around and dancing in the parking lot. It was wonderful to see people made so, so happy by something that a lot of people elsewhere complain about :D

Haha! That's awesome. I have a few online friends on Australia. I never ask them about it, but you know I never hear rain in the background when I'm talking to them over ventrilo. I should probably ask if they've had a bit of precipitation lately. :)

Rained again today, like a downpour in a rainforest.

I don't like rain much, most of the time.

Rain is my favourite weather to watch, but not to be in.

I <3 snow. I miss it living in Florida. That gentle snow that falls on a quiet evening I miss the most.
