Unlike previous responders, I experience less discomfort with the cold than most. I have heating on but not terribly high and that's enough, and I would have it on as much for reasons of common sense as for any physical discomfort when the temperature is at or below freezing, as it is now.

I leave in the freaking center of Brazil, it's perpetual warm (but not hot) weather here.

It's not so much that I find the cold discomforting but rather that I am not used to the cold. I find heat more discomforting & it's even worse when there is high humidity like their tends to be in south Louisiana but I'm more accustomed to that discomfort.

Nope. It's nice and warm in here, even if the temperature outside should reach -11 Celsius, like it did last year.

It's blooming freezing outside, got the heating on but am still sitting wrapped up in a cardie hoping for the house to get warmer. My hands are cold too. I am the original hothouse flower.

I wish I was.. I want it to be colder.. 36 is too warm for my liking. Just 4 more degrees for snow :?
