My house was selected once for a tour of homes at Christmas. That year I put up 35 Christmas trees in the house. My first idea was to make each tree representative of a certain time in history---beginning with the Middle Ages. I planned one tree to be decorated in reprints of Victorian Christmas cards. An aluminum Christmas tree with rotating light would represent the 1950s. However, I didn't follow through with that theme. But I did have the trees unique to each other. But I still think of the idea of making different time periods in the decorations to be a neat idea.
