Never been to New York but going on a plane is great, the take of bit where it pins you back in your seat because of the speed and when your high up you get all the great views 8)

The subway is an adventure and a half ! !! All the New Yorkers just use it like taking a bus, but for those of us from out of town, it's as good as Disneyland!! The stores are really cool, everywhere you go, there's all kinda stores. And here's a hint about deli's. (A friend who grew up in Brooklyn told me this.) If you go into a deli, and nobody is speaking english, it's good. If you go into a deli, and nobody is speaking english, AND they're yelling at each other, it's a GREAT deli.

Thanks diseased. I'm really excited now.

I'm looking forward the plane journey, I bet the views really are amazing.

Haha, thanks for the tip Prof_Pretorius I'll remember that one. Hopefully I shouldn't get too lost when using the subway, I can get around the London underground ok so it kind of gives me a little advantage. Saying that it probably wont help at all lol.

You won't believe it until you see it, but the NY Subway System is HUGE ! ! When you go down the platform, they have these signs diecting you on which train to take, and it's like someone threw multi-colored spagetti on a piece of paper ! !! You have to trace it with your finger to say, OK I'm here and I need to get there. I heard a NY Comic say, if you're colorblind, you'll never find your way out ....

Lol, oh dear. Well it will be an experience.

This is a map of the london underground, it's kinda crazy too, coloured lines all over the place.

Well I'm off guys, I've got some packing to be getting on with, stuff to sort out and the tidying of my room to do before I go.

Thanks for all the messages, I'll take lots of pictures and I'll see you all in a week.
