I hate that I have neighbours and here is why:
My apartment and the one adjacent to it used to be one apartment. When they divided them into two apartments, they didn't build a wall, they just locked a door. So basically on one end of this not large apartment, right by my bedroom, I have a door.

When I was looking at apartments before I moved one I looked at was like that. The door was right in the middle of the wall in the smaller bedroom. That really bothered me. I don't care how well it is sealed off or locked, I'd be worried that someone from next door would end up getting it open and get in my place. Even if they didn't I still didn't like it. I don't want doors in my apartment that connect to a separate apartment.

We didn't take that place for various other reason, some of which were it being too small, the stairs being too narrow, the kitchen ceiling being too low, and the bathroom having a very shallow tub.

In my old place I think it was 2 flats converted into 4 apartments and the wall between the apartments was so thin that sometimes I heard my neighbors do things like sneeze or cough.

I hear one of them coughing and one day we lost power and I heard him say the F word lol My ceilings are very low, that's another thing I do not like about this place but for what this town has to offer this place is much better than most. I have a very shallow tub too, pointless trying to take a bath...
