^ Nope. My mother is from New Zealand and white, and my biological father is/was Fijian Indian, which is where I get my colouring from.

I might be, but I am not sure. I would just a bit a little mixed anyway. If I am, I am 1/8 Native and 7/8 White, so just a little.

I have Irish, Scottish, Italian, French and Polish in my recent ancestry plus some stuff I probably don't know about further back.

Everyone's multi-racial. Even a "pure" Irishman would be a mix of genetic contributions from paleolithic inhabitants of the area, newcomers from the continent during the Iron Age (the Celtic influx), Scandinavian from the Viking era, Anglo-Norman from the time of Strongbow (Anglo-Norman itself being a hodgepodge) and possibly others. Every other group is the same. All "races" are mongrel.

Which is what makes white supremacists so funny. Hell, everyone's ancestors climbed down from an African tree at some point.

I agree with this, but I assume that "race," in this context, refers to obvious physical differences, of genetic origin, typical in certain groups of people that were previously (until relatively recently) geographically isolated from each other. I know that race is an outdated term, but that's what I assume it means here.

And you forgot neanderthals, or were they part of the "paleolithic inhabitants." Or do you believe that neanderthals and humans could reproduce together?

I agree all races are mongrel, but that doesn't mean that someone with dark skin will get treated the same as a fair-skinned blonde--which, I guess, is why we use the term "ethnicity" more now. Because "race" is a social construct that's only loosely supported by biology. Your historical knowledge sounds really interesting.

I hadn't thought about them. But paleolithic (and neolithic) groups existed in the British Isles before the Beakers arrived and kicked off the Bronze Age in the British isles, and before the Celtic influx in the early Iron Age. They - not the Celts - built Stonehenge, for example. Although nobody is too sure how much population actually moved or whether it was mostly just culture being imported from the continent.

Yes, its primitive and ridiculous now. I think the concept of genetic clines is far more accurate. This refers to distributions of a trait over a geographic area, and is thought of in terms of frequency or intensity, rather than absolute boundaries with one trait on one side and another on the other side. This, for instance, is a cline for a particular genetic haplogroup:
