Yeah, twenty thousand comedians out of work and I gotta come to wrong planet.

I've also experienced some correlated events which cannot be explained by any normal causal mechanism, but they've been too unlikely and occurred too frequently to be parsimoniously dismissed as random events.

I've often wondered what's going on. Jung's ideas are worthwhile, but the guy made up so many terms that he's no longer speaking any normal language. He also seems to describe more than he explains and he gets a little woo-woo for my taste.

There's a semi-crackpot kraut physicist named Burkhard Heim whose ideas may have some applicability.

I've often thought about a song, then shortly afterwards, someone will be singing it.

But isn't it amazing that everybody on WP has access to a computer.

If you took a kitchen sink and twisted it all up, wouldn't it be a maze sink?

When you are attacked by a rapist and you use your pepper spray, isn't it a macing?

When you throw corn at someone, isn't it a maizing?

Isn't it amazing that the WP planet looks similar to Earth?

What is the Wrong Planet Planet called, anyway? Alex!! We need some answers here!

about 2 minutes ago, i farted at the exact same time as my dad, also at the same time my mom was saying "what's that smell?" our dog needs a bath. (we can't give her human food, she has a skin allergy, and if we do, she begins to stink really bad)

Isn't it amazing that with all the members we've got on Wrong Planet, everyone always
chooses the same 2 colours, green and blue, for all their posts ?

BTW in April this year there were 2 programs on British TV on a Wednesday night,on
different channels at 10 pm. One was called 'Angels' and the other was called 'No Angels'.
They were in no way connected so it was just a coincidence. That reminds me,it's also
amazing that no One-Winged Angel has appeared on this thread.

How about The other day? I saw a billboard for something called axel while waiting at a stoplight. then I looked at the car next to us, it had a sign reading axel!

Have you ever experienced coincidences that seem to be almost supernatural ? The
psychologist Jung was very interested in this so-called Synchronicity.
Here are a few examples

During filming of The Omen, two sound effects men happened to be in a car crash in
Holland. They were near a town called Ommen.

I was watching the film Ocean's Eleven where George Clooney started talking about the
artist Monet. At the same time I picked up a newspaper and on turning the page the first
thing I saw was an article about Monet.

My 2 year old niece was playing with a Bugs Bunny toy.She then picked up an object at
random,a small padlock in a box nearby.I saw the lock maker's name was 'Rabbit'

A girl called Leeanne Harrison from the UK was travelling by train in Vietnam and got

talking to a neighbouring passenger called Ian from New Zealand. It turned out his
surname was also Harrison. They were cousins who had never met before !

Red Car syndrome, simple as that.

There's some truth in the above but it doesn't really explain all the examples

So the girl called Harrison from the UK walked past some other relatives from New Zealand while she was on the train in Vietnam,it's just that she didn't notice them.

I've often heard phrases on TV at the same time I read them in papers and I'm talking
about obscure phrases, not everyday ones.I once heard someone say "asset stripping"
on a TV gameshow at the precise moment I read it in the business section of a paper.
"Asset stripping" isn't exactly the red car of everyday phrases !
