To all my Aspie Children,

I have heard your appeal. The National Anthem, is from this day forward, declared musically free for all time. You may use any song, type music or instruments you desire when playing our Anthem, be it Baroque, Screamo or Om-pah, be it Saxaphone, simulated hand farts or the stamping of feet in unison. Only two restrictions I place upon you. First, as long as the sun rises and sets also shall the words shall never change. And second, though all instruments are allowed to you, one, the Tamborine, you shall not use. So let us work together my children, but with seperate soundtracks, in the great struggle of our time.

Sylkat are you paying attention ? We have a flag, or at least a provisional one. Its up at the top. I think purple would be great as the backround color. And that falls well within your authority as Minister of Trivial Details.

Now as Elvis has decreed, Aspies of all walks, skips and jumps are welcome, but we must avoid institutionalizing anything, including symbols, connected with Pre-Aspia societies or movements.

I really like the avian stare thing. As Sun Tzu observed, it is much cheaper to scare your enemies then defeating them in battle. I am thinking about how to work that in.

Seriously speaking I will donate $3000 dollars towards purchasing an island in the Caribbean that we can live on in peace from the outside world. Not even kidding.

I once thought that it would be a good idea to get all the level headed, smart and Knowledgeable people and have them build a whole new civilization free of stupidity. The problem with this idea is that if you were to do such a thing you'll be leaving all the morons and loonies where they are, meaning that'll they'll probably conjure up some reason to invade.

Sadly it means that we have to live amongst these people who our own sakes.

Our national symbol should be a llama.

As far as seriously comtemplating the concept goes, it is quite difficult to concieve. I haven't really considered it before, but a quick survey of history doesn't provide any precedents... I can't think of any group trying to set up a political entity based on psychological conditions. One factor is that such conditions have only trully been recognized in very recent history. Another is that more basic concerns such as safety and security generally hold priority.

But allowing for very broad speculation, I think it is concievable (barely) that something along this lines may have occurred in the long history of evolution on the planet. I still do not actually know what Aspergers is or what causes it. But if it is a type of genetic variation, this is in fact the motive force that initiates evolution. If ever such difference gives the new variation some advantage it can establish itself as the new norm essentially.

And we shall BE the norm, on our island, with our raptors, our llamas, and our popcorn.
We will need free unlimited Internet access, of course.....
