I hope it snows before christmas here.

There is at least 15 centimeters of snow in my country- at least right now.

The next couple of days we are going to get 12-16 inches of snow. wich means I couldnt be happier!

I only like snow in games, not outside on the roads and in the city and with cars and the sewers and pavement etc, its horrible x_x The whole country gets disturbed when we get snow here :o

6 inches? People wouldn´t even call that snow where i live. *cry* If it is snowing less then this mark people say it "sugars" according to giving powder sugar over cookies and so on. ^^ During this time the surrounding thermal spas are my second home, because swimming and a little gymnastic/workout at home are the last sport things i can do during this time. (I hate winter sports and cold. And public gyms i hate too, too loud, too many people....its just stress for me.

I love snow. I moved to where we should get more of it because we live higher up. So far no snow yet. I miss Montana for the snow. That is the only thing about it I miss.

Where we live now, it hardly snows and when it does, places close down even if the snow is only a few inches deep. The snow only lasts a few days. When we got snow here for three weeks in 2008, it was called a storm and the snow was only a foot deep and people had a hard time getting around in it. Buses were way off schedule and my husband was always late to work because the switch in the tracks would keep freezing so it kept him from going to work on time. I was laid off at the time and I had fun with the snow and filmed a couple people being stuck in the snow and putting it on youtube. I wish it would happen again but because it seems to happened every decade, it probably be in the 2020's before we get the best snow again. Let's see it was the best snow since 1980 and they had a record from 1968 and I am not sure of we broke that record in 2008.. I was actually surprised how all us aspies in the autism group handled all this and everyone else in town was panicking over it and didn't take the change well so we were all NT and they were the aspies. I said at the group we were all NT and they were all autistic so we had switched places and they all laughed. My mom thought that was funny too when I told her the joke.


So yeah I love snow. My husband hates it but I love it.

Come on snow....

I agree that here is some point for aspies, that makes snow positive. Its so much more quiet, because less people leave their houses without cause and there is much less traffic noise and so on, because people only drive around if they really have to. So I still dont like the cold that comes with snow and the additive work i have to do because of the snow but the silcence is wonderful.

So i have to stay up at 6:00 in the morning, just to control if there had been new snow falling down during night, to remove the snow from the sidewalk in front of my house and scatter material on icy places to prevent people from slipping or depending to temperature i even have to use salt. (Because too much salt would be bad for the surrounding plants, it is only allowed when there are night temperatures below -20° Celsius (I think this should be around 250° Kelvin.).) According to law, i am responsible for my sidewalk from 6:00 in the morning until 10:00 in the evening, and if someones hurts himself, because i did not clean my sidewalk, i am responsible. And no, it isnt really MY sidewalk, its a public one in front if my house, still i am responsible for it. -.-

Then i have to change my car wheels for special snow wheels before winter seasons, and if there had been too much new snow over night, after cleaning my sidewalk i have to apply my snow chains at the car wheels, but if i reach the main streets where the snow cleaning is faster i have to remove the chains again and so and so on.... Still i am lucky, because i have a roof for my car, so i do not have to dig it out of the snow. ^^ And there are so much more cloths to wash. In summer you wear only jean, slip, T-Shirt and bra and i only have to wash once a week. In Winter you wear fourtimes so much clothes and because you always get from extreme cold into hot areas, they are always sweated at night and you have to wash every 2-3 days. -.- And because the cat doesnt leave the house anymore, the cat toilette gets used much more. And the floor in the entrance is always dirty because of the wet shoes and the snow people bring in on their cloths...

So the silence is nice, but the rest.... -.-

Edit: And my favorite one: Car washing in winter. -.- So i dont care what my cars looks like, but if i cannot look out of my side windows any more, because of the dirt the cars in front of you throw on your car, its time to clean it. And in spring you have to carefully wash the whole car (even the bottom below) to get rid of the salt, that had been spread on the street, so that your car wont get stain... Snow....bäh....

i have snow where i live. thank god, means a nice christmas. usually i hate the stuff, except for christmas

I had snowing for about a day but it all melted now. I'm having another green Christmas even though outside of the Lower Mainland, THERE IS SNOW!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !

I like snow and its even better when its heavy once it settles the scenery looks beautiful.

Don't eat the yellow snow.

Did I say that I eat some other color snow?

I hope it snows tonight.
