?!?!?!

Can you find Aaron in russian???

Mmm,tricky but I can come up with something.
The original Aaron was the son of Levi in the Bible.
Aaron is said to come from the Hebrew for 'bright'
which I believe in Russian would be pronounced
something like 'Yahrkiey'.
Yahrkiey Leviyevich ..
If anyone knows different by all means please correct me

The Bolsheviks were in the majority over the
Mensheviks,'bolshe' meaning more and 'menshe'
meaning less, which explains it.More or less.

Russian names do sound pretty cool, Russia is pretty cool too. Not very people where I am think that though.

If there was a Communist party, I wonder if there was an Uncommunist party, or something.

The one that always got me was Vladamir (not sure if it's exclusively Russian) i was watching the figure skating and there's a skater with that name, it makes me think of Vlad the Impaler, which makes me smile.

Eastern Europe definitely has some interesting names.

I love Russian/Slavic names in general. My cat's name is Sasha. I have grandparents from Russia but I think they gave most of the Jews German names for some reason, so they mostly have names like Bernstein :? .
