Associates in gunsmithing, Colorado School of Trades.

BS- Civil Engineering

Took me a bit longer to graduate as i had to use several attempts to get over the physics hurdle.

I started my college courses in the fall of 2005; one year after WP.net was established. Had I joined this site earlier, I would have told you about my exploits in college.

college graduate here,though it isnt like what other people are saying.
attended a special college at twenty,it was a two year lifeskills course for people with SMLD or PMLD [severe or profound intelectual disability],had suffered severe bullying there because it was based in a EBD special school and most of the kids were pyschopaths in training who targeted anyone who looked particulary vulnerable,it wasnt just self that got targeted regulary,another girl; who had down syndrome was attacked often to and the worst time she was pulled by her rucksack down the steps into the college building and whilst she was lying on the floor hurt they emptied the bag contents on her,woud have defended her if had seen it happen but no doubt woud have been expelled.
was almost expelled for fighting one of them because they said we were adults and they were kids,not taking into account all of us in the college were LD not EBD and were actualy lower functioning than these kids.

had been suicidal because of the bullying but fought to graduate the course because had been expelled from special school and never had any certificates.
the course itself was very difficult despite having two to one support,it wasnt very adaptive to complex needs,ended up being unable to do the english unit for example because it involved fiction- am unable to work with fiction it is a concept will never get head around.
finaly after two years of hard work and several incidents of kicking the sht out of bullies,had graduated it with certificates was able to be proud of...mostly.

had tried another ASDAN course for SMLD/PMLD which was just based on sports but was expelled due to behavior they didnt understand.

am doing another ASDAN lifeskills course but part time and from home as the residential centre am living in is also a special school and special college,
this course is highly adaptable to the highest of complex of needs though and unlike the other course means am not being barred from finishing parts of it because am unable to write,it even adapts for those with PMLD who may be unable to move very little or at all.
two of the modules of this course have been horse riding, and animal management/care so was very chuffed with that.
upon completing the first year,we got certificates for it at a certificate presentation,though they werent the original certs as they were not sent in time, the centre made them,heres a photo of self and the teacher of mine at the presentation-was very very proud at knowing had sucesfuly passed the whole years worth of modules-

Bachelor of Science -- Engineering

It took me five years. It's interesting (and validating) to hear other Aspies needed extra time too.

Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts (double degree) from the University of Queensland. Four years surrounded by thousands of people; never really got close to any of them. Thank goodness I loved the courses.

I am not sure what is next for me, but I may try and get a job in photography.

Another engineer. Academic stuff has always come easily for me so I managed a 3.95 GPA.

In two weeks I shall have a shiny B.A. in Theoretical Linguistics. It's scary, but I'm really kind of happy to be done with it.

2 years, 130.5 credits, graduated when I was 19 years old.

Diploma of Technology in Operations Management from BCIT's School of Business. We're recognized by ASTTBC as "Industrial Engineering Technologists."

Just graduated with associates about a week ago.


I plan to study more but we can't afford it yet. I would like a job soon, but people are giving me certain plans instead since I myself have no plans...

Associate in Arts, General Studies - 2 years, graduated December 2006
Bachelor of Science, Mathematics (Pure Theory) - 2 years, graduated December 2008

Master of IT Engineering.
If I'd be able to include non-formal education I coul add at least BA (or even MA) in History.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but what the heck.

Just graduated with a BA double majoring in Sociology and Literature. Took me about 5 years. Best decision I've made.

Phd in computer engineering in 2009, My degree was handed to me by Patrick Stewart
