Pepsi Max and Mountain Dew. No more than one a day, if any.

Pepsi for me, and I used to drink quite a lot (over 2L/day)

Back in November, I decided to start losing weight, and now I don't allow myself more than 1L/week.

Gotta have me some pepsi with salty food. Cravings......

Iced Tea, juices and spring water. I cannot stand bubbles anymore, they are so irritating for my throat. I have also a major issue with tap water and cannot swallow filter water either. They are just too 'hard'...

Coke for me, two reasons:

1. I live in Atlanta, world headquarters of coke, they even have an entire museum here in town. You would be hard pressed to find pepsi being served at any place you go to eat as well.

2. I love vanilla coke, I wish they would bring back the black cherry vanilla they had a few years back, because I REALLY loved that, but if I go to the right QT (gas station) I can use the syrups they have for soda to make my own.

Coke.
Having said that, if both were poured into unmarked glasses and given to me to try I probably wouldn't know the difference or enough of a difference to matter.
Probably the same for generic cola.
I just like the Coke logo better.

As an aside, I will say this: Truthfully, I prefer Diet Coke over regular American-made Coke (because of that damn HFCS); if I were to drink regular Coke, it'd be the Mexican kind (has real sugar). :)

Has anyone here noticed any difference in taste between the two drinks I mentioned?

Pepsi Max

Yeah, there's a difference between Cola and Pepsi. The regular Cola is sweeter (not in a good way) than Pepsi. Diet Coke and Cola Zero taste bad, while I really like the taste of Pepsi Max. It's one of two light soda pops I like. The other is a local one called Solo Super.

I picked "don't drink" as I no longer drink ANY soda, but I used to be exclusive for Royal Crown, and even then it was only in Glass Bottle, and even if I would go back and drink it, only if it was with real sugar, not that horrible High Fructose Corn Syrup stuff (I can really tell the difference) - I have very sensitive taste

Between Coke, and Pepsi?

Not a whole lot of difference.

Pepsi is the slightly sweeter of the two.

I prefer Coke. But when I was a kid ( and spending allowence money on soft drinks and the like was a big deal) I reasoned that "coke and pepsi are the same damned thing, but since coke invented the idea and pepsi is the imitator -that coke deserves my dime more". So I got in the habit of buying coke, and not Pepsi. Probably conditioned myself to like that slight difference in taste more over the years for that reason.

If I had a class of Coke and a glass of Pepsi next to me, I'd take the glass of coke.

Thats all I need to say.

IF I drank soda, it would be Coke. But I don't; I drink only water on a regular basis (soda rarely, and only if I'm at a restaurant).
