Didn't even know today was the 14th until I was at work putting expiration dates on the tortillas. That's how much I care it's Valentine's day.

The other cashiers were saying, "Happy Valentines day!" to all their customers but I don't think I did once to any of mine. V-day may have bothered me when I was younger. But as an older (and wiser) lady, I guess I've put it in the same perspective as all those other "shoulds" I don't follow.

I got to write a Physics midterm that could have went a lot better and now have to finish a useless philosophy paper for tommorow morning. At least the last midterm went about the same and I then got 97% on the exam that's worth a lot more so hopefully this is a trend. At least I just found an awesome band called Skankin' Pickle so I'm in a bit of a better mood.

Mine was excellent by far.

sent off two singing valograms.
sent a good girl friend of mine a flower and a card, reminding her that she is appreciated and remembered on Valentine's Day.
met a new girl, who is interesting.
went to the Homecoming week festivities, tonight it was non casino gaming night. took pictures mostly since I am a photographer.
and that was my day.
oh and went to class as well.

I got the day off because of snow day and spent the day with my lover~

And you know, even when I didn't have a boyfriend I was celebrating the day. Dammit, it doesn't have to be about romantic love, I still have my parents, best friends, little brother and sister :/

Plus I got a bucket-load of chocolate so how could I possibly complain~?

Yup, I agree with you MarieElana. I think it's a time for celebrating friendship, connections of all sorts. It doesn't have to be all 'soppy'

My (girl) friend (platonic) sent me a Valentine's e-card. I was made up!
