Yeah, it was a neighbors. He drove it home always. Me and his wife were friends. He took her car and I didn't have one and we needed to go somewhere.

What traffic? We only went to the liqour store and it was 11 at night. It was her husbands car and he did leave the keys in case of emergency but told her don't drive it unless it is. It was.

New discovery I found the cupholders I had to pull them out of the console kinda like a droor.

If your lucky you can get one in really good condition for 3 grand or less!

Is it true they use Mustangs for cop cars over there too? They couldn't be used for anything other than highway patrol cars since you can't really throw perps in the back seat.

Not really I have not seen a mustang cop car i have seen camaro cop cars but those are fairly rare. Most of the cop cars in my area are crown vics and the occasional new ford taurus SHO thats slowly replacing the crown vics.

This is what the police around here drive,like on Squidbillies. :D I asked an officer how fast he ever wound it up to,but he wouldn't answer,just grinned.

Well i found out the cupholders were hidden and you have to pull em out like a droor under the dash.

It will hit 60 in about 6.8- which isnt bad for a car that weighs 4k lbs. I have to be light on the peddle because she really likes to go!

The first day I bought it i couldnt help but say oink oink oink as i was driving it home! :pig: :pig: :pig: :lol: I also nicknamed my car Officer Jenny!

Glad you found them. I cannot imagine how annoying it would be to not have cup holders. I think it would really drive me up the wall. (no pun intended :oops: )

Years ago I hung around with a policeman. I did ride-alongs several nights every week. The interceptors are cool and built to take sustained high performance use. Plus, they generally have a bit more ground clearance, for hopping over curbs. A Ford Interceptor is super tough. And, the seats are comfortable. You'll probably notice a heavy-duty alternator and power distribution bus under the hood. Also, there may be shielded conduits and isolators to keep the radio from getting into the microprocessor controls for the car, such as EFI. The ABS brakes are different to allow extra steering capability with the brake slammed to the floor. If you look under the back seat, you may find some interesting stuff. People in the back push all sorts of stuff between the seat and the backrest, from drugs to guns.
