Know how to waltz? Remember, I am two meters.

I told you, I'm a dancer. Of course I can waltz. It would just be a long look up.

A bit old for you, isn't she? I haven't seen many movies (ever), but I heard she was very good.

Talking about Audrey Hepburn, she is dead and if alive, she would be my senior. It is the mental image of her that I love. Just the way she is in the picture I posted on page 1.

If you are thinking of My Fair Lady, her singing voice was dubbed. The voice actor (I believe Marnie Nixon, but I shall check later) did an excellent Audrey impersonation. I have seen Audrey's original singing on youtube. Charming, but not strong.

was referring to the original voice before dubbing. her voice was pretty.

Ah, I see. Most people don't realise that's not her. Here's the original Audrey.

I think the movie would have been better/more authentic if they used Audrey's natural singing voice. marni Nixon was TOO GOOD to the point of being "out of place." just my opinion.

I won't disagree with you. Audrey could do no wrong in my book. :)

the thing is, that when marni Nixon sang the song there was no feeling to it, it was technically perfect but devoid of real emotion- she is not so much an actor as a vocal artist/technician - whereas in Audrey's voice there WAS emotion which was buttressed with the technical imperfections in her vocal delivery. Audrey was acting in her singing, IOW.
