White faced hornets and paper wasps are pretty docile, unless you disturb their nest. I have had paper wasps land on my bare chest while I was lying in bed. Laid still, and off they flew.

Killer bees are also pretty docile until you approach their nest. They will start buzzing you to warn you off. However, they are attracted to loud noises, and apparently aggressive around them. There have been cases where people have been attacked while mowing their lawns. They also release an enzyme if you kill one, which will result in a swarm coming after you.

Wasps win. They can sting and live to tell about it. Bees cannot

^^^yeh, I suppose you're right. but they'd be so much better without the stinging. never had honeycomb, I have to avoid sugar.

part of your diet thing i see. i understand.

it's hard to come by here. i saw some little glass jars of honey with comb at the corner store years ago but i doubt they stock them now.
