Well this looks like a good place to share a fact that probably everybody has already heard ... apparently watching The Wizard Of Oz while listening to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon is kind of mind-blowing (for some people) because of how well they sync. You can look it up on YouTube!

A Scanner Darkly:

The whole movie is done in a rotoscoped/animation style over live action and the story itself is very paranoid.

Beyond The Black Rainbow:

This is not the kind of movie that will offer a coherent plot and is does plod along at kind of a slow pace. However, and does offer some good atmosphere in it's direction and a few great bits of synth music. It's kind of a retro sci-fi horror flick.

"Hero" I think it was tarantino.. I just know it had jet li and was a martial arts movie.

Not sure it's your genre but it's full of colors and action if that's what you seek.

Jacob's Ladder would be a good one for you as well as Pan's Labyrinth. Also try Inception and Cloud Atlas too. These really would increase sensual capabillities as well as entertain. Highly recommended as it worked for me.
