My mother bought my me and my brother nail care kits, but I looked inside and had no idea how to use any of the tools. Nor did I plan to, because I'm pretty contented with being a dermatillomaniac.

I'm I don't [for the most part] peel the chapped skin off my lips anymore. btw, what is the term for the action or propensity for peeling chapped skin off of lips? enquiring minds want to know :alien:

Same thing. Dermatillomania. I've been doing that all day. I bled twice. :skull:

Same. I couldn't imagine being a woman and being expected to take care of my nails..

In the very least I'll clean out the dirt at the end of the week, but the rest is a mess of bite marks.

if I use the wrong type of clipper for the job, I run into problems. gotta be the right size and the right shape. mostly I use convex clippers [shaped like "<)" instead of "<(" ] for hangnails and localized callouses and such.
