Some really good pics there. It's great that you get to go in and wonder around. There's nowhere like that near here (at least not that I know of). I do live near an old manor house though, which is nice to walk past and ponder over. I'd like to have free reign to wander around inside, but it's not allowed - only guided tours and other events allow you to see the house. Obviously I've been in there a good few times, but not for a while. It's not really the same if you don't get to take your own time.
My ex knew of all the derelict or unoccupied places on the Isle Of Wight, which is where this place is. We even got into Carisbrooke Castle one night, which has guards in a house there. That was funny, as the only way in really was a high wall...and it had no footholds really and I was too afraid to climb it, but... in a remarkable act of contortionism, I managed to squeeze between 2 bars in the entrance gate. My ex and his friend just couldn't believe I managed to fit through

Appuldurcombe house there is another that is easy to get into at night. Loads of gaps in the fencing along the front and the whole side of the place is open as it was bombed in WW2. Could just walk straight in, but very creepy.
