How are you dealing with the NE snowstorm.

Just now, they reported that we have 2.2 feet (26 inches). It's been snowing for 28 hours, straight----I think it's safe to say this blizzard's outta control!!

We're in "Stage 3 Snow Emergency"----that means there's to be absolutely NO ONE (driving) on the road, except for emergency vehicles (ALL of public transportation was halted yesterday evening, at 7pm----no Light Rail, subway, local buses, NUTHIN').

Other areas in Maryland, are headed toward THREE FEET!!

With the several feet of snow-drift, everyone's car is just totally buried----you look down the road, and there are all these little "snow hills", along each side of the road.

Even Humvees are getting stuck and a SNOW TRUCK----you KNOW it's bad, when THEY get stuck!!

I gotta at least get outta here and walk-around the block or something, tomorrow----I get a little claustrophobic during snowstorms; I'm not sure why..... If it wasn't snowing, I wouldn't be going anywhere----I guess it's because I CAN'T go anywhere, and that makes me a little nervous.

I went out and plowed the sidewalk for most of the block, then cleared paths to the front and back doors. Only took an hour. 7 inches so far.

That picture is from, at least, as early as 2012.

We got 29.2 inches. The worst in Maryland is from 27.5 to 37.5 inches----the least, 10 inches, around Ocean City.

Schools have already been called (closed), for Monday and Tuesday.

Since I am in Texas, I'm dealing with them very well.

By the way, the last time we had a large snow storm in my town, my younger brother got his tractor out and spent two days helping the city blade off the roads. The city's director of utilities was very happy for the extra help.

I suspect that wouldn't be much of an option in New York City, though.
