Seen the first film. What a great, decent horror film.

The sequel looks kinda promising.

I just saw it. Not enough zombies IMO.

Same as Land of the Dead.

If I want to watch an action movie I'll rent Die Hard.

What did you guys think?

I saw it at the weekend, went to the midnight showing, there were about 10 other people in the cinema.

I was disappointed with the film

The people from the previous film were not in it ... instead, some more well known names had signed-up.

I thought that there were many things in it that spoiled the film (for me) and I found it hard to get into/enjoy..

(such as 'the father' [robert carlisle] turning up in just about anywhere they could shove him)

..the film had potential, there were some good bits,
and the mate I went with found it 'stressful' and kept jumping out of his seat .. which was funny.

BUT, I wanted to be scared by this film - and I wasn't
... in fact I laughed at it's ridiculousness throughout, and at my mate sitting next to me in the cinema.

Immediately after the film, the rating that I gave it was a 3 out of 10 (i think)
..... and half of those points were because I bought a Hot Dog to take into the film ...I did enjoy the hot dog

The British website DVD Times have a cinema review of 28 Weeks Later... up (http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=64842). I shall give this one a miss as I didn't feel a sequel was necessary.

Shaun of the Dead is a great film. I used to love zombie horror films when I was younger. I saw many of the old classics: the 'Dead' trilogy (apart from the last one), many of the Fulci gorefests, some early Peter Jackson efforts and so on.

Tequila, I agree with you there.

Shaun of the dead is a superb film.
