What colour socks are you wearing?

I'm not wearing socks.

However, the socks I was wearing earlier are white with a blue heel and toe and some sort of animal face design down the center. The socks I wore for horseback riding were orange and yellow and blue and green patterns. (Western riders get the cool shirts and gear, so the English riders get stuck with the nifty socks. )

One sock is black and one's white. (I couldn't find a matching pair). Don't worry, I didn't wear them out of the house. I wore sandals earlier and now my feet are just cold.

I like cold feet...I don't wear socks.

If I did I'd wear one black and one white because I can never choose between the two; the question then is: which one goes on which foot?
