What do you think of gourmet burgers?

I agree that the application of the "Gourmet" epithet is a marketing ploy.
I would also state that stuff like McDonalds barely qualify as burgers at all... I haven't been into one of those places since 1987.
However, you don't have to go into a fine-dining emporium to encounter top-notch burgery. All kinds of places can cook up a lump of minced beef (no horsemeat, please) with plenty of toothsome chuddiness. And you can make them for yourself.
