That's one of the reasons my parents traveled up here to visit us during some of the falls/autumns. Things weren't that pretty a couple falls ago cuz we didn't get enough rain so the leaves just kinda dried out instead of changing the different colors.

It depends where you live. My parents decided not to travel up here during the fall again cuz the fall is hurricane season where they live. A couple years ago during the fall my parents had to leave here a day earlier & rush home while they were visiting me & my girlfriend cuz they had a hurricane threat. They made it back home rite when people decided the hurricane wasn't gonna hit Louisiana & things wouldn't be that bad there except for a bit of rain.
climate change has definatley affected the fall folliage season for sure.the autumns and the leaves are not what they used to be like when I was a kid
