. How to Make Tomatoes Safer To EatI love tomatoes. I grew some Heirloom Tomatoes this year without knowing anything about what they are like. I got a peach orange colored fruit with a very mild, low acid taste
.Yeah...that's that doc I have seen on internet click bait who actually claims that he IS "afraid of tomatoes".

No, I would not be scared of a tornado, it is mother earth in motion, it would be interesting sight to see. Even if I was swept up into the tornado, it would be an adventure, I'd land at the other end of the clouds. Then likely die... but death is the only thing curtain in life and really not something to fear, when we die we live in complete internal and external nothingness.
Tomatoes are one of my favourite food, along side chillies.
A little fact: tomatoes are the same family of tobacco and contain small amounts of nicotine in them, as do potatoes, so rather, I am addicted to tomatoes.
I started the tread BECAUSE there is already a thread entitled "are you scared of tornados", and kept misreading it as "tomatoes".
All three of those crops were domesticated in the New World by the Indians. And were brought to the world by "the Columbian exchange" of plants and animals that occurred after the discovery of America. Didnt realize that they were related botanically as well as geographically.
Wow! I never knew that Native Americans had domesticated tornados!

Yeah, the Native Americans domesticated the tornados with their spirits and revived ancient ancestors spirits when ritually tripping on peyote cactus and smoking tobacco out of homemade wooden pipe, which created a force so big that it bred a tornado, this was before America came and killed the native tomatoes. I guess anything is possible on psychedelics.

No, but I do get rather annoying intrusive thoughts about them.
Someone: *eats a tomato*
Brain: Hey, do you remember that time someone compared a tomato to an eyeball several years ago?
Me @ my brain: This isn't the time.
Brain: Don't you just hate how the juice is going everywhere? I don't trust that tomato, it's too red. Looks unnatural. Do you ever think about the variation of tomatoes? Or how they smell different depending on the type of tomato and how ripe it is? Is that red naturally occurring or did humans meddle? The sound they make whilst eating is really annoying. Don't you just want to yell at them?
Me @ my brain: In everyday society we don't yell at people for eating a tomato. Just look somewhere else. Put a song on in my head. Admire the ceiling. I don't know, just do something else. Please shut up.
Someone: Am I bothering you?
Me: Haha no. I was just uh admiring the architecture.
On a somewhat related note, I know people like to joke that I'm scared of cucumbers but I just absolutely hate the smell. If you want an idea of how sensitive my sense of smell is, just know that I can smell cucumber from the top of a staircase when cucumber is left uncovered in a downstairs kitchen when the door is left open. To me, it's one of the strongest smells there is. I know as soon as someone walks in if their food contains it. Which is why I usually leave as soon as I can otherwise I get overloaded. Another method I have is rubbing a bit of soap under my nostrils and on my left hand so I can focus on that smell and block the others out. You can get scented stress relievers which is a good solution sometimes. I can often smell when a candle has been previously lit in a room, even two days later. People have joked that I must be part werewolf.

It sounds like Josephine is addressing a vicious gang of tomatoes, and pleading with them not to touch her.
But she is speaking a Jamaican accent, in which "me" mean "my". So she is actually telling a man not to touch...um...um.....not to touch the vegetable produce she has on display at the mom and pop grocery store she runs!
