Be mean back.

I've tried that millions of times myself, everytime I did they would act like it was the end of the world, as they are so superior and I am so inferior!

What do I do? Stay quiet and then spend the next two days spewing vitriol in their general direction because they suck so much.

If someone is mean to me, I'll stand my ground and make my voice heard. It makes my anger grow because I have a funny thing about pride. If someone is mean to me I feel they're attacking my pride. If I could come across really well I'd try my best to intimidate the 'pride attacker' as I perceive it.
I go into hating neurotypes and questioning them and thinking 'would an aspie do that at all?' In these ways neorotypes annoy me.
Nowadays I'm getting more confident. Maybe soon if someone's mean to me I'll kick their ass. Because my Tae Kwon Do is making me more... well... in my oppinion a stronger man but not in the 'macho' sense. I know I'm not macho lol but I think I'm getting stronger mentally and coolwilled.
In the case of it being a girl who's mean to me I wouldn't try to kick their ass lol so I'd have to try something else... the tricky thing is guys and girls are mean in different ways... they both have natural strategies for being mean... at least being able to defend against 1 is something... I think I can defend against either... but girls perhaps less so because they are more confusing than guys in my oppinion. :?

I actually have what I would say is verging on a phobia of people hurting me/being mean to me/saying anything harsh because my self esteem is so shaky and it tends to feel like they have stabbed me in the heart.
I literally shake if I have to say sorry to someone when I have acted out, for fear they will tell me to f off, or will say something really painful. Cowardly maybe, but I really do feel emotional pain absurdly acutely.

Alas, because I wish so much for a close friend, I tend to put up with a lot more than others would, and always end up being the one grovelling, even if they have done something wrong too, which in time, builds up an immense resentment.

Sometimes, I get vengeful, but not in any real sense. I simply will deliberately keep away from them or not be responsive when they try and talk to me.

I shut 'em out. I've always imagined a big switch, and when someone abuses my trust to a significant degree, the switch gets thrown, and the offending party's then "dead to me". Once this happens, it's almost impossible for them to earn their way back. The moral: "Don't tread on me."

May sound childish, but I'm absolutely fine with it.

I do this too. It's the only way I know how to keep myself from getting hurt. I just don't have patience for other people's BS.

It depends on the situation. I used to get really flustered and try to correct the problem ASAP. Now I still get hurt by it, and might cry, but I usually don't let them see me upset, and I take my precious time correcting the problem.

I wait until there is a full moon and make a wax doll in their image, then I get some very long, sharp pins.... No, I don't really. It depends on how mean they've been and what kind of mood I'm in. I'm not a devious kind of person so I would probably just tell them what I thought of them if I was really upset or I might just ignore it and decide it's not be worth bothering about. I'm not a 'stewer'. More a flame-griller, lol.

Mostly I shut them out...if they back me into a corner though I tend to become nasty.

Not really, but I stew about it, but don't do anything about it. Although when I was a school, I would "keep score" and get payback sometime.

When I was 16 my stepdad threatened to throw me out after he was done with his yelling session, so I physically picked him up and threw him out the door. That was around the same time I was put in the mental hospital for 2 weeks.

Things don't work out too well if you let the bullies of this cruel and hateful world get to you. Try to think of it this way, "the bullies are full of bull, so why bother take what they say to heart? If you do, you let them hurt you. Have courage, they wont last forever! They're looking for people to play their game, don't. If they are in authority, report them to every higher up you can."

Generally I agonise a bit over how best to reply, then I decide I don't need that kind of stress and the a***hole is not worth my time, so I just avoid them.
