I like Anubis's too, but not sure about the "I will try to socialise whenever I have an appropriate opportunity". Ooh, that's a tough one for me. :)

I like that, and I'm putting everything in place, so that I follow such chains of positive thought when we emigrate to Australia next month, right from the start.

Anyway, I remember reading something similar to this awhile back, I'm pretty sure it was on WP. It was a longer list of Aspie positive thinking oaths, with stuff like "I am a good person, and I can contribute to society" etc etc.

Anyone know what I'm on about? :)

Yeah, that's the one, cheers! and yeah, can't say I'll miss the Yorkshire winters, horrible when it gets dark at 3.30pm!

isn't there thick snow in Yorkshire in colder months though?
that is the one thing manchester has ever rarely gotten,just get crappy slush and snow mixed with rain which disolves instantly.

Never had much where I live (close to Leeds), but there may well be in North Yorkshire/on higher ground. Where we are moving to in Australia (Hobart, Tasmania) gets quite cold sometimes and has snow on the mountain tops, so only a 20min drive or so, till I'm feeling like I'm back in the UK again.. if ever I get home sick that is!
