Middle age means you get both zits and wrinkles. 8O

I don't like to do, but I have to do it before they get too big and ugly. Also, I have a tendency to get pimples in my ears and they really hurt. Those need to be taken care of right away.

I enjoy popping my zits if I can... for some reason I'm fascinated by the juice and pus that comes out. I still get zits and have the temptation to cut the really large ones with my X-acto knife. I like the really large boils that I get on other parts of my body because it's amazing when you squeeze them what comes out of it.

I still battle acne, I wish I had outgrown it. I use a hot compress till you see a head & then a pin. Learned my lesson on the first squeeze that it does more damage then good. Feels good emotionally though.

I think it can be very satisfying to pop/squeeze/otherwise evacuate a zit. I don't get them very often these days, but I had one on my cheek recently and it looked so angry and obvious I had to get rid of it.

Much squishing later, I felt a lot better :)

I don't usually have any, but when I do I pop them every time.

How many on this message board have a thing about popping zits? You are with someone and you spot that big juicy zit just begging for your forefinger and thumb or you spot one on yourself and would do anything to reach around and give it just one big squeeeeeeeeeeeze.

Disgusting ? Yes.
Irresistable ? Yes.

Have more zits as adult than I ever had as teenager.
Didn't have long fingernails until a few years ago (up 'til then, I chewed my nails to shreds), so now I'm much more able to pop zits (and scab-pick, since rough/uneven skin is intolerable sensation) with precision. Prefer dealing with my own skin problems, but there are places I can't reach (or can reach but can't see properly) and I enlist my boyfriend's help with those (for which I'm greatly thankful). He allows me to do the same for him, to lesser extent (he can "take it or leave it", while I'm closer to compelled/obsessed).

Hey - this isn't a light-hearted stim or OC. The scars left on my face from doing that when I was younger are no fun. You can see a scar on my cheek on my avatar even though its a small pic. Oh well, I guess its just another thing I'll have to write down to "character" :)

Aw crap. I thought squeezing them helped, so they wouldn't turn into scars... >.< I used to pick them...they're scars now....

Compulsive zit-popper here- mine and my husband's. If I know one is there it mustbe squeezed. About the scar thing- I have so many from having had chicken pox at 11 that any pimple scars are just lost in there, and his are usually behind the ear anyway...

I cannot resist, ever! I get a few a year and once I can feel them and know they are there, it is war!

You are supposed to pull zits, not squeeze them. This avoids scarring. I have tried this but squeezing is so much more fun!! !
