Favoorite comfort foods? I'm not really sure. When I was a child, it was definitely sautéd quesadillas or sautéd cheese sandwich on rye. Carrots and swiss chard. Beet roots. Mint chocolate chip ice cream. I still enjoy all of those things, but I don't eat them often enough.

A dinner familiar to me as an adult: Fried catfish, baked salmon, or spicy black bean chilli with brown rice. Broccoli stems, carrots, brussel sprouts, green beans (always fresh, whole and steamed, never from a can nor mashed).

Well, just about anything if I'm really feeling down.

Mostly though, I'll opt for cheesecake!

If I just want 'comfort', I'll go for those frozen ones with the little wax papers inbetween the slices :D

hmmm, hmmm, good! I can eat a whole one in one setting.

It's always cereal or chocolate for me, whichever's most readily available (usually the cereal, because I rarely get to have chocolate).

Muesli, Weet-Bix, Porridge... Yummy~ If nobody else likes 'em, then all the more for me!

A really good Greek salad. Must have the best and freshest feta, cold pressed olive oil, and organic (if possible) crunchy veggies. I will usually forgo on the anchovies and/or tuna. A good lettuce is much appreciated these days - will go with arugala or romaine. Top off the tomato cherries et al with a nice squeeze of fresh lemon - and uoomghood. :P :P

That would be Fried dark meat chicken (legs mostly) Peas with cheddar cheese mashed potatoes, homemade cream gravy, and a large, hot brownie with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, almonds and whipped cream. Oh, yes and fresh buttermilk biscuits with real butter. Wash that down with a dr pepper and follow with an autumn amber pumpkin ale. mmmm , fatty southern goodness!

I am more partial to "New York Super Fudge Chunk".

Ice cream in general would have to be it for me, that or Big Cheese-it.

Smiley faces (they are made from potato), cheese (cheddar/mozzarella/feta), vanilla cheesecake, Ben and Jerry's caramel chew chew.
I'd eat this stuff every day if it didn't mean I'd end up obese.
