No, it's just that the ratio of aspie men to women is like 4 to 1 and sometimes it feels better to talk to other women with Asperger's. Also, sometimes women have gender-specific issues that they don't feel comfortable bringing up around men.

This will change as more and more women and girls are diagnosed.

I also don't care much for being told to look up stuff if I ask. I'd rather just be told.

Great point! I feel the same way. I am sick of being excluded too... and it hurts after a while! I agree with you that it is not "fair" to have a women's only discussion, but not a men's only. Did you write to Alex?
