I always read profiles and follow links to blogs and web pages. They're interesting.

Sometimes if I think someone's putting an opinion too strongly, I check their previous posts to determine whether or not they have a bias.

Me too

A lot of people on this forum think I'm male, but I'm actually a female.

No. Or at least I don't.

I read them (probably 90% of the time). Why wouldn't I?

It seems to me that genders are more easy to identify at the average forum - they are more stereotypical.

Out of each member here I have eventually identified as female, more than half I had initially assumed to be male - which is a really good thing, I think, since I like people's identity to have to do with themselves and not with imposed gender stereotypes.

I thought RedMage/Bererker was male months ago, I thought Zsa Zsa and Postperson were male, I thoght Triangular_Trees and makelifehappen might be men but I wasn't sure, and then I learned they were women. Sinsboldly too, I think, but I learned right away that she was female.

Female.

There is a forum I know of where it shows the genders of people in their posts. bestofthree.smfforfree4.com It's a gaming forum though.

And people are right to assume that I'm male because I am.
