I was shattered after my dx.
The 'STIGMA' of autism.
I think I found this site the next day.
Everybody was talking about how nt's sucked and we are even more valuable than them.
It took a while for it to sink in, but now...
I still feel worthless occasionally but mostly I'm ok
and every so often my head swells up to the size of a car and i feel like a god,
dancing rings around dim-witted inferior nt playthings.

If I hadn't found this site I would have never had the confidence to build my Hug Machine or
join a support group.I would be locked in my room, waiting to die, hating the world.
My dx confirming all my worst fears and the voice in my head attacking me relentlessly with
all the vicious s**t I have lived with all my life: "Losers die alone" ad infinitum

WP is the ONLY forum I have ever participated in.
I just can't see the point of contributing anywhere else
even if I could pin down a special interest long enough to seek authoritative help.
