I hate to think that I may go to hell but who dosent fear that? And if we knew were we where going to end up we cant change it. God... He knows every move your going to make before you make it, every decision you will make before you make it, and all. It Makes you think??? They all say its not carved in stone but he does know how your going to change he knows every sin your going to commit before you know it and he knows youll ask for forgivness. lets say you got to know were you were going to end up for once so you decide to change and spread the gosple and when you die you still go were you were headed because god planed it all, so it is carved in stone because you cant change your path.

Im saying that we dont know were we will end up and if we did and tried to change that we would end up still in that place because it was already written.

There just seems to be a break in logic here somehow... If God doesn't allow for free will, why would he give us the illusion of it?
It couldn't be to see how we will react, as he would already know that beforehand.

Man do I hope God has better things to do than playing puppet master for us. And man do I hope he has a good sense of humor

i used to be afraid of going to hell and i think thats why i flipflopped so much about my religious views, now however im positive im agnostic. and if "god" wants to send me to hell for not obiding by a set of certain rules and regulations so be it

All religions are made up to provide a means to someone's end, dont' believe me watch the Zeitgiest movie. It will show you just how much of what society believes is orchestrated

I knew I forgot something while I was out shopping. I need to apply my once yearly coat of Fate Sealer.

I don't worry about my own fate. I think I have done the right thing in most cases. Really it's the so-called Christian fundamentalists that I'm concerned for. They simply don't realize that many of them are as close to being true Christians as terrorists are to being true Muslims (which is to say, very very far). Read the gospels and you'll find that Jesus never once mentions Homosexuality, and he even said to not judge others since we don't have all the facts. It seems all Christian fundamentalists do is judge others to the point of damming them to hell, the whole situation is disturbing really.

I know how Shenzie feels. A big part of my little depressive episodes the other day was because of that. That very problem. Like, why even try? I'm glad Shenzie posted this so I didn't have to start another "spammy" thread. I posted similar threads before. Like the "Do you think that no matter how hard you try you'll still go to hell?" thread.

None of you are going to hell, because it does not exist. It was made up by those wanting to control the masses into their lives the way they saw fit. What better way to do that than to scare them? Add in some dude named Jesus who supposedly died for everyone's sins and you have the perfect belief system. Lots of rules, but you can break them anyway, as long as you repent. Pretty hilarious people actually believe in this crap, but to each his own. Just keep me out of it.

Shenzie, this is one of my obsessions. It could end up consuming me as I try to solve this equation. Most likely it's not solvable but the thing is is that I can't stop.
