While it might seem a disgusting topic, a lot of people don't realize how clogged up their insides can get without good bowel hygiene, and a good bowel schedule. It is not so much to do with how much you eat, but how efficiently your body disposes of waste. There are actually people walking around with years of waste inside them, and they don't even know it.

I am curious, what is the longest anyone has ever gone without taking a dump? My record would be about two weeks, and that was when I was having a bout of constipation.

I'll bet they don't get whatever kick they want from watching themselves take a dump so they like to watch others. I blame it on some sort of synaptic short-circuit going on in their heads.
