Limp Bizkit is number one on my list of the worlds worst bands, every song they have ever put out makes me want to drive sharpened pencils into my ears to relieve the pain of listening to their noise

Shine Jesus Shine - Makes me want to commit sepukku for losing the battle with the stop button and the volume knob.

Soulja Boy - Crank That: A crime of commercial radio

Tiesto - Adagio for Strings: I love the original, I love the choral version. But I hate the trance version of it. Never mind it is played at least 5 times a nite in the main room at every single f'n rave.

Fedde le Grande - Put Your Hands Up For Detroit: I generally hate house music. This has everything I hate about house.

I'm gonna make the exception to Dragostea Din Fei - I really appreciate how the singer modulates his voice. It's quite awe-inspiring, really.

Almost all commercial jingles

I agree about American Idol, too. Most of those people sing so bad it could clear out a room.

Any number of pop songs of today. The list is too long.

I may kill this thread and be the laughingstock of this forum, but I can't stand Fergalicious by Fergie. I was at a rollerskating rink and heard that song and complained to the DJ, but HE then put on Umbrella which I hate more than Fergalicious. Good thing I had my P2 with me so I can listen to my own music instead of that junk.

Something has to be said about the tongue-in-cheek nature of the song. In fact, Aqua is part of a whole genre of music from Europe where it is all a ruse, that every song drips in sarcasm.

Now that's a good choice. I can't tell if it is sarcasm or it is just all about churning out a tune to fill radio space.

European dance songs are supposed to be taken at face value - there's no sarcasm in them. They're just supposed to be fun and happy.
