We don't have a pigeon problem here...I don't even know if we have any? We have mourning doves.

Comparing them to rats isn't very fair, rats make excellent pets. They're very gentle, easy to train, and they don't smell bad like most rodents do.

They don't have very long lifespans though, and they're very prone to cancer =/

Yes pet rats are great, but sewer rats are not the cute cuddly ones I like.
I love Raties, I dislike sewer rats and rat with wings or the common feral pidgin

There aren't any pigeons in Dobson so I have nothing against them. Here, we have crows. But I like to watch them do their things. One time at college, I was sitting in my truck watching crows pick french fries out of a Burger King bag someone left in the parking lot.

I'm right by Lake Michigan, so we have seagulls =D

Not to mention, they love parking lots too.

Which pigeons are you talking about? Wood pigeons or feral pigeons?

Wood pigeons are larger, cleaner and do not roost in buldings. They look like this:

Feral pigeons are smaller, dirty (hence the expression 'rats with wings') and roost in buildings in large numbers. They are classed as vermin. Feral pigeons differ a lot in colour and markings, but they look more like this:

I love woodpigeons. I don't really like feral pigeons although I've never really been that bothered by them.

I  Pigeons. To me they represent love, peace, and beauty. They should never be kept in an aviary and free to drop anywhere they want.
