I've had a lot of usernames, only some that I can remember. Nairin is just one of them.

~Cattren: I used this one over two years ago. I used to love Pokemon and Cattren was one of the first fake Pokemon I created. Yep.
~Trennian: Originally another fake Pokemon that I started using when "Cattren" got boring. This Pokemon was like a guardian angel or something. Then it became my persona's name. My persona is a demon.
~Ravensoul/Ravensoul_Nevermore/RavensoulNevermore: Depending on how I felt at the time and availability of other names. I love ravens, they took over my soul, and I love the show "Teen Titans". Therefore, Nevermore is taken from the name of a Teen Titans episode that's probably named after Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven".
~Nairin: Hey, the one I use here! I decided to name myself after my Ravensona, Nairin. I don't draw her much anymore and she needs a new reference.
~SemiGoth: Shortened version of Optimistic Semi-Goth, the label I made for myself because I'm mostly goth, but not all the way. Also, I don't have the stereotyped gothic outlook on life... often.
~Optimistic Semi-Goth/Optimistic-Semi-Goth: I used to use this if SemiGoth was taken, but one of my friends called me "Opti", so I decided to keep using the name so that people would be able to call me that. The extra hyphen is in case spaces aren't allowed to be used.

I usually go by the same username, aethra or Aeth. Aethra is the mother of Theseus, the guy in Greek mythology who went into the Labyrinth. I love the film The Labyrinth, my real first name is of Greek origin (I'm not, just my name  ) and it shares an initial with my middle name. Also, I just generally like the name. I like aethra better lowercase, though - I don't know why. :)

am used to have rats before being moved out in 2005,and had four rex buck rats in one superpet ferret kingdom, the FK takes up most of a room and is taller than adult human.
am already called their older cage the Realm Of Rats,so the name for the new cage had to be Kingdom Of Rats as it was already called a Kingdom.

Sorgenfri (norwegian) means "free from sorrows".

I had periods with depression when I was younger, but now I have learned how to cope with it, whenever it comes for visit. So now im usually a happy person and free from sorrows :)

My avatar... hmm.. just liked the picture, i think its quite emotional, especially the sky with the dark clouds, the landscape and the lonely, abandoned house.
The girl reminds me of myself I guess.

I named myself after the superhero X-Man Scott "Cyclops" Summers, because he was always awkward in his social interactions with others. This was actually because he was afraid he would accidentally kill someone with his uncontrollable eye beams if he ever got to close to people, and this reminded me a little of how something that's out of my control keeps me from getting close to others. Cyclops was a bit somber, brooding, keeping to himself. His mutation also meant that he had to control himself, and I relate to that.

He's my favourite X-Man, he wears glasses like me, and he's something of a square and a boyscout. I'm not THAT much of a boyscout, but I can get caught up in following rules and doing what's 'right' sometimes. And the other half of the time I'm actually a non-conformist semi-rebel! Go figure...

I thought 'CyclopsSummers' was an original username, but there are a couple of others on the net. The CyclopsSummers from superherohype is NOT me.

JR=Johnny Rocker
-JR is an annonymous nickname, and I like it that way. It doesn't attract attention, just the way I like it.

Aurore is a reference to the aurora borealis.

I'm also known as "Dingo" in some circles, but I think that was taken when I tried to use it here.

The Dark Knight is an awesome film :)

Yes, it is! Well worth braving the long line and crowds! Heath must have had a blast (literally) making it! Poor Heath -- R.I.P.

Edit: Forgot to mention -- My nickname comes from my standard greeting to my cats, "Well, hello, mad-ame!" enunciated very clearly. And I am old enough to be a "madame."

Hmmm. Deus Imperator. Means God Emperor in Latin.

Getting any ideas about why I picked that name. And look at my signature. Any themes going?

I really can't define my username. For those who see me on IRC as YeppBoy the first four letters are from the Samsung's Yepp MP3 players (think of Apple's iPod) and I am a guy.

No hidden meaning, I just like the name.
