I think WP is entering its second golden age (the first being basically late 2006).

I just wish it wasn't entering it just before school starts again.

Yes, late 2006 felt good. I can't really sense the mood here anymore, not been around much lately.

golden age? ooh. I think there's a large proportion of new posters (and a large exit of former posters) so it alters the landscape. I'm not sure what the new landscape is yet. Hopefully it will be pleasant to spend time in.

yes, I felt like I had a lot of friends here. Now I feel like I hardly know anyone (that would be due to me not being around much either).

I thought I might start a Mr Bogan appreciation thread.

I meant a lot of familiar faces from that time have since returned.

Not bad, although there are still too many trolls spouting their pseudo-scientific nonsense.

Same here really.

*SINGS*

Sometimes you want to go
Where everybody knows your name,
And they're always glad you came;
You want to be where you can see,
Our troubles are all the same;
You want to be where everybody knows your name.

Have it be known, I rarely back down from a challenge to a debate - but I really am sick of debating, especially on sites such as this where the moderators defend the opposing side and silence my side. It gets nowhere and I don't want to argue, so don't push buttons with inflammatory statements.

I just want to have friends, especially while I'm off my medications for bipolar and anxiety.

The mood here is quite nice. There does not seem to be any drama at the moment. Mind you, I have not been here in the past, so I really can't make comparisons.

Just out of curiosity, what did you have happen involving a mod? I've got a bit of a bad taste in my mouth at the moment after a mod who'd been debating opposite me sent me a very rude warning to back off, then took down the thread. Is that fairly common here? It's the first time I've had anything like that happen, and I can't seem to get a reply back from the site admins.

mood? there is not one but many really. Happiness, The jokers (inducing laughter or annoyance), anger sometimes... and sometimes a "normal" mood of "oh yes i had a very plain day..."

The Mood of Wrong Planet?

Mellow, very laid-back, a few cynical attention whores here and there.

It's been quiet because I haven't been creating threads for ages now.

Slow and tired.
WP isn't as busy as it used to be.
